WE NEED YOU!
The Public Safety Committee shall work with the City of Atlanta Police Department, City of Atlanta Fire Department, and other city of Atlanta/Georgia Law Enforcement and Public Safety Agencies as needed along with the Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association (CHNA) as needed in identifying physical safety hazards in the CHNA area and seeking solutions for these. The committee shall also be responsible for safety education and suggesting programs to improve neighborhood safety.

- Citizen’s Police Academy – The class is a 12-week course of information to help educate our community members about the operation and inner workings of the Atlanta Police Department. The course will only require a one-day attendance from 6pm – 9pm. No one with a felony conviction is allowed to participate in this program. You can log onto the Atlanta Police website at atlantaga.gov or go to any police precinct or come by the Atlanta Police Academy for an application
