- There is a form on the website you can submit an incident report.
- 1st Thursday of each month is NPU M public safety meeting at Helene Mills Senior Center.
- Most break ins last only 5 minutes. Don’t let things inside your house be seen from the outside.
- We will probably do a neighborhood public safety meeting every quarter. We still need a co-chair.
- resident: on south side of Peters, there are 2 men who flag people in their cars down to “park their car”. If it is a female driver, they get right at their door and block them. If anyone witnesses this behavior, snap a picture with your phone and email to the police or send to Ko to send to the police.
Neighborhood cleanup
- Steve : The first cleanup this year will be Saturday, March 6. Meet a Mueller; coffee and doughnuts will be provided.
Business Development
- no report
PR/ Communications
- Carrie: neighborhood maps is topic; she’s holding the last map from December and will have to do a new run. Much of the information shown here will be removed in the new map because there is not enough space on the paper and we will provide the additional headline billing only for paid business memberships. CHNA pays for the printing of the maps.
- You have til Mar. 1 to pay your business membership. The additional details for non-paying businesses will also be removed from the CHNA website.
- resident: can we tell how many click-throughs those businesses get? No, but they could from their own website statistics.
- resident: is it possible they don’t know they need to renew? Laurel went door to door last year and we do invoices so they should know. Valerie volunteered to call businesses to provide reminders.
- Our website gets several thousand hits each day and jumps higher during the ArtStroll. The e-blast reaches 2500 people. If you are a paid business you may distribute your press release in our e-blast.
- Amanda Brown of Artist Trifecta got us in the Daily Candy and on CBS News. Thank you Amanda.
- New signs announcing our monthly neighborhood meeting will go up the weekend before each meeting. If you see one still out at your building after the monthly meeting, please take it down for us.

- We still need a code compliance chair. Code enforcement deals with code violations on private property.

- Parking signage: if you feel there are signs which have an inappropriate time limit or are outdated, please send Heather a note before she sends in the final list of requests.
- Is 404 POTHOLES still the right number? Yes. The form on the website works well, too. http://www.atlantaga.gov/HowDoI/ReportPothole.aspx
Dog Park
- We have enough wood chips.
- Lighting: Heather has met with Georgia Power; needs feedback on lighting proposal.
- GA Power offered to put up a new pole for free. We pay the monthly bill for the electricity.
- The pole would be where the wood chips are now, in the burnt out bonfire area.
- Resident: the daylight glow is preferred over the yellow light.

- There will be 2 areas: one for small dogs and another for large dogs.

- Next design workshop will be 03/11 at south lounge Kilgore Campus Center at Morehouse College. Some streets close after certain time of day, so allow enough time to find parking.
- There is a link on our website for the survey via Survey Monkey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/55LZ9DQ
- Resident: for those of us who have completed the survey, at what point does our feedback become incorporated? It will be at the Mar. 11 meeting.
- The meeting in April will take all of those plans and move toward a final plan. By May, we will have a plan.
Neighborhood Census
- Scott: we will conduct our own “census” for the purposes of business development and putting together a PR package for the neighborhood. More to come.
