Edgewood-Auburn Extended Hours Pilot
Tags: Auburn Avenue, Kwanza Hall, liquor
As you may know, this week Atlanta District 2 City Councilmember Kwanza Hall introduced legislation that would permit bars and restaurants on Auburn and Edgewood Avenues to stay open until 4 a.m., as part of a 6-18 month pilot program to assess the public benefits and risks of returning pouring hours to what they were in the City before 2004.
Kwanza believes that this pilot program could spur economic development in this particular small business corridor of District 2. He is also sensitive to the concerns of immediate neighbors who have moved to the area since 2004.
Please complete the following survey about the legislation: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/barpilot/
