This area is established for the purposes of filming contacts, schedules, and other information pertinent to Castleberry Hill residents and businesses as well as the filming and production companies. The Castleberry Hill neighborhood has been used numerous times for filming from TV to the big screen and everything in between. The classic look and charm of the neighborhood, the buildings that have been restored but retain their historic look and feel, the skyline views of the city, the convenience of being downtown, the trains, the art galleries, and of course plenty of people willing to open their homes and businesses all make Castleberry Hill very conducive to filming.

Upcoming Filming Schedules

• March 16-17, 2010, 5pm-8am (overnight shoot) – “Hall Pass” (New Line Cinema) filming on Nelson St. near Mangum. Will be a nightclub scene with extras pretending to get into the club. Crew, lights, and equipment will be staged along both Nelson and Mangum.  We are working with the City of Atlanta to temporarily close portions of these streets while we are filming.  Atlanta police will be present to help keep traffic flowing smoothly (all necessary permits are in place). Working trucks and other crew vehicles will be parked on nearby streets during prep as well as during filming. We will work directly with businesses and residents immediately affected by our presence to ensure a positive experience with our production. Click here to download the flier and help distribute.
